What do you think of when Chiang Rai is popped up in a group discussion? Well, many places, isn’t it? We believe that Chiang Sean is one of them. What makes this area so interesting? This area is rooted by its history that becomes legends and some becomes myth. To disclose the root, it is mandatory to understand history and deeply comprehend the existing legends regarding the origin of the area. An on-going R&D project conducted by the Mae Fah Luang University is about to fascinate us and make us fall in love. In addition, this culture-based R&D would be possible to empower the communities to better manage thier common-pool resource (limited water quantity in swamp) and make the ecosystem resilient.
